Changi Airport - on our way to Korea...

Time really flies...heheh...I am back in Singapore/Malaysia again....

I am currently in the Changi airport Terminal one internet station...flying off in an hour's time...quite excited...at the same time...quite sick of plane rides.....sigh....

Just got back to Singapore yesterday at 3am in the morning....my parents came to pick us up...went back home....had dosai on my way home....yummm!!!!!! then went home to sleep.....till about 12pm...got up...had yong tou foo....then came back in to singapore for our trip to Korea....quite tiring....been installing floorboards at home with dave....so been quite tired.....rushing my studies....so that i am up to speed.....but unfortunately not.....have been too busy with other nonsensical stuff....sigh....but...i am not gonna worry about my studies when i am on my holiday!!!! Whoohoo.....worrry about that later....hahahaha....

Quite looking forward to the trip there....always wanted to go during winter....but....missing the winter again...but its ok....should have fun....hehehe....holidays are always good.....

Oh ya....for those of you who called my house....my mum told me....hehehe....i think she mentioned to you guys that i will be back home by the 22nd....and then flying off to kuching on the 25-27th again....so.....i will seriously think about how to meet up with all of you this time....will try my best....but if i really cant make it...sincere apologies.....i think i should be able to meet up with you guys during the night....i will think about how to organise this yah....coz time is really really tight this trip.....but i am really looking forward to see you guys!!!! :):):)

My legs are breaking....tired....feel like sleeping....quite tired....didnt really rest much last night....but really feels good to be back home in my own room!!!!! miss my family too....realised how much my parents have aged....and how much my niece anne has grown.....and how much i love my family.....i can also see in dave's conversation with anne that he likes kids....hahahaha......i feel warm looking at people relating to kids....coz i love kids myself....looking forward to the trip in korea...and at the same time....looking forward to spending some quality time with my family.....

Anyway....the internet is timing out in 5 minutes....i shall wrap up....and will blog again whenever i can....maybe when i am back in jb.....

Updates...end of summer...

Wow...as usual...my normal line..."TIME FLIES!!!!!"...its nearly the end of summer...

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL...

It has been ages since I updated my blog...Some of you have been asking me about what is going on in my life here down under...and some of you have asked me to add your new work email address donkey years ago...apologies for the slackness...I'll add all of you including those who didnt ask me to add...coz this is the best place to know what I have been up to...hehehe...sorry lah...I'm a bit slack these days with the net...best to catch up via email...in the office... :)

Last I updated about things I should be grateful about...my parents coming, buying an investment property, blah blah blah...I also mentioned that I had my exams coming up and was gonna die ugly...surprisingly, I scored a distinction...HAHAHA...*smiles*...God's always there for me...hiak hiak hiak...was quite worried actually...coz I was busy with my family and didnt have time to study...was cramming everything...but thank God...I pulled through... :)

This semester, I am too ambitious, and I am doing 2 units...kinda worried...coz 1 unit is already quite a killer, but I am just gonna bite the bullet and do it...coz I really wanna get over and done with studying...too tiring...plus working as well...

Oh ya...another update is I have changed jobs...been trying to get into the Oil and Gas industry...coz I hear alot about the industry...etc...and I think that it sounds really exciting...plus, since I am in Western Australia, I should try to catch the mining boom...hiak hiak hiak...saw a position online...sent in my resume...scored and interview...and got the job...quite happy...at the moment...I am enjoying my job...thoroughly...learning heaps of stuff in this industry...quite different...but yeah...bosses are cool...and it's a good place to work in...for those of you who know Perth...I am working in West Perth now...I have a parking lot too...hiak hiak hiak...so these days, I drop Dave off, and then pick him up after work...

In terms of church...we've have a break with our cell group...starting up next week...the theme in church is "DEVOTED"...how we need to be devoted to God...why we should be devoted, blah blah blah...it's good...been to church just now...and it was good...

It's 1:18am now in the morning...just cant get to sleep...decided to write a blog...before trying to sleep...

Lots of happenings...lots of thoughts...lots of reminiscience on my part...I've been reading back old emails from old friends...friends in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Melbourne, China, etc etc...I really miss the days...I miss the friendships that I shared with each and everyone of my friends...Also, because I couldnt sleep, I tried going in to ICQ just now, to see if there are still anyone online that program...guess what?!?!?! NOT A SOUL!!!!! I went back to read the chat history that I have in there...memories came flooding back...I dropped a message to some of you...you know who you are...who chatted with me during my days in Nedlands...hiak hiak hiak...I know that those messages will probably not be read...but it would be interesting to know who managed to read my messages via icq...HAHAHAHA...let me know if you read it yah!!!!!

I miss the carefree days...chatting online...meeting up with you guys...etc etc...I think many of you old friends of mine...we catch up alot via the net...Each time I think of you guys...I count my blessings!!!!! I miss all of you very very much...and I really hope to catch up with you guys soon!!!!!

Each and everyone of you...have a special place in my heart...I treasure our friendships...and I thank you for being in my life...

Wow...I think I am getting very very "emotional" here...

Some of you, I have known for more than 22 years...I thank God for your friendship...some of you...I may have known a shorter time, but I also am glad that I found a friend in you...you guys make my life more colourful and more exciting...

I hope to keep in closer touch with each and everyone of you...

I miss you all...take care lots and have a great year ahead...

Second month into spring...

Good day all...

How is everyone getting on? Good good?

For me...it has been quite stressful and tiring the past 3 months...but at the same time...happy too...Stress over many things...but let's recap the happy stuff that happened...I believe it's always better to give thanks for all the good things that to recap the bad things and feel bad about them...

The things that I can give thanks about: (hehehe :):):))

1. My parents came over to visit for 3 months
2. My sister, Peter and Anne came over to visit for 3 weeks
3. Tiled the laundry area and also the kitchen
4. Bought an investment property in Langford
5. Had my family and friends celebrating my birthday and my dad's birthday - my mum cooked yummy food...auntie and uncle cooked too...
6. Got a Sony viewcam for my birthday from Dave
7. My job getting extremely busy and I am enjoying it more and more
8. Had my graduation ceremony for my Masters
9. Attended a few birthday and wedding lunches/dinners
10. Mum has been helping me with ALL the household chores...and I havent been doing any at all...gotta give thanks for that...hehe...
11. Although putting on lotsa weight, but gotta give thanks for good food mum prepares everyday...

Heaps of stuff to give thanks about...and lots of stuff happening...but these days...gotta study for my CPA exam which is in about 2 weeks. I have 5 modules to study...I havent even completed Module 2...i am dying really ugly...

Work is also busy...and I have been working late the past few days...and err...I need a holiday...

I have heaps of stuff to say...but I am brain dead at the moment...

I will update you guys about myself again soon...

FRIDAY!!! WHOOHHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good day all. It’s finally Friday!

 

Been out for lunch with my uni mates…busy at work…

 

Just some quick updates about myself……….

 

I started work in a new company in the city……been in this company for 3 weeks now…….time flies…..have great bosses……..good colleagues………have my own office………window view, although facing the road…….so those of you who walk past Citibank building, look up and wave to me……..hahaha……….i’m facing the park…….been learning heaps of new stuff………enjoying work so far………

 

I realised that I am a workaholic……….as in I cannot stand not having anything to do in the office……….arrghhh……….whenever I finish something, I crave for more stuff to do……….not sure why………but I feel uncomfy when I have nothing to do…….maybe seems like I am not working??? Sigh………but, at night, when I lie down, I go straight to dreamland………

 

Oh ya, got my results last Wednesday too……..surprised with my results again………I thought I wont do so well, but hmmm….i scored all distinctions for my units………praise God!!!! I was feeling rather down after my exams, coz I thought I didn’t prepare myself well enough……….anyway, praise God………really…….and gotta thank Dave too……couldn’t have done it without him……….he cooks and cleans and looks after me……….hehe……he’s a loving husband………I am proud to say that I love him………..so……guys, I have finally completed my Master of Accounting!!!!! Whoohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My graduation is in September……..somehow, don’t feel quite excited about it……but I guess I’ll feel excited when it nears……..

 

My parents are coming in August with my niece and sis and bro-in-law too………looking forward to see them!!!! Cant wait to see them! YESSSS!!! Home cooked food!!!! Yum yum!!!!

 

Tonight, gonna have a social night in church………bringing some friends to church……….quite excited……..coz they are non-believers……….although it’s just for social night, but hope that they click with other friends, and will come visit the service…………

 

Past few weeks, I’ve been shopping heaps too………spending too much money on clothes……….but I guess I need them lah………(what an excuse)……..but yeah, having sales everywhere………..and plus working in the city……..and dave finishes work at 530, and I finish work at 430………so I have an hour in between to shop………dave drops me off at 745 in the morning, drives to east perth, parks at friend’s place and takes a cat to work……..home time, I’ll take a walk in town till 515 and then take a cat to his friend’s house, pick the car, and drive to pick him up……..that’s our daily routine now……..getting quite used to it……in fact, quite enjoy this daily routine………coz I do a lot of walking now………I need that………since I started studying, I put on so much weight!!!!! Need to lose some now……….hahahaha…………

 

Hmm…….what else is there to update??? Nothing much lah………..i should be going back end of the year, or chinese new year……….

 

Oh ya, a friend/junior from Convent just came to perth! So excited……..when we started talking on the phone, like orang gila!!!!! Laugh and laugh……..but yeah, gonna meet her in church tonight!!! Happy!!!!
